We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and work closely with our Business Analysis Manager and IT team alongside supporting the whole business with adhoc projects. You will be an experienced Business Analyst and preferably have worked within financial services.

THE ROLE

The key purpose of this role is to work closely with our Business Analysis Manager to provide dedicated business analysis resource.

This role sits within the IT department and involves working closely with the application support team, especially when system changes and upgrades are required.

You will work closely with key stakeholders and strive to improve business efficiencies by investigating business process and recommending and supporting change.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide BA support across the Advice, Central Services and Operations side of our business
  • Liaise with key business users to understand and improve current business processes
  • Utilise Business Analysis techniques and methodologies to understand and document requirements
  • Apply formal project and change management techniques to implement system upgrades and implementations
  • Improve processes by proactively reviewing and recommending changes to drive efficiency and exceptional client service
  • Work closely with senior management, project sponsors and the Project Co-ordinator to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Suggest and deliver improvements to the information systems, data management and processes to ensure the organisation operates effectively.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Have previous experience working within the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of Prince 2 Methodologies and the Full Project Lifecycle
  • Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing
  • Have Knowledge of Intelligent Office – Advantageous but not essential
