BEING A BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT AT CHASE DE VERE

We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to join our energetic team of experienced business developers who cover the length and breadth of the UK. You will be personable, professional and ooze enthusiasm. A smile is a must but if we are honest, once you meet this team, its hard not to grin from ear to ear.

THE ROLE

The key purpose of this role is to work closely with our Medical Financial Advisers to plan relevant networking events with the aim of building professional working relationships which will, in turn, generate new business. Whilst the adviser presents on a variety of relevant topics, including the NHS pensions scheme, you will act as a support during the event by networking and acting as an ambassador for Chase de Vere.

This role will appeal to someone who has experience working in a business development capacity.  You will enjoy interacting with a variety of professionals varying in seniority and will be genuinely interested in others recognising the importance of building positive relationships with potential new clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building professional relationships with external bodies including The British Medical Association, Royal Colleges and Specialist Societies, Hospitals and NHS Trusts as well as Department Secretaries and GP Tutors.
  • Working closely with our Chase de Vere Head of BMA and Senior Managers.
  • Identifying and targeting business development opportunities
  • Organising and delivering events that promote our brand, our specialism and our proposition
  • Attending National BMA and Marketing events as an opportunity to both network and to enhance knowledge
  • Building upon existing client relationships and nurturing new one via networking, personal introductions and promotional activity.
  • Creating and updating relevant hospital workbooks that sit within your geographic location.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Have experience of providing excellent customer service to both internal and external client.
  • Have previous experience of working in a business development capacity
  • Have excellent organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Be confident using all programmes within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint)
