The Role

Working closely with the Regional Paraplanning Manager, the key purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive paraplanning support to our Independent Financial Advisers.

You will be responsible for researching, analysing and compiling financial planning reports in conjunction with your advisers, ensuring compliance with both internal and external business quality standards.

You will also be supported by an experienced team of financial administrators and report writers to meet business needs.


  • Research, analyse and compile financial planning reports
  • Undertake investment portfolio analysis, including asset allocation analysis in line with stated attitude to risk
  • Compile investment, pension and protection illustrations, projections and associated documentation
  • Prepare suitability reports, client service agreement letters and assist in checking valuations
  • Ensure client files comply to both FCA regulations and internal policy and procedure

Experience & Skills

  • Achieved¬†a number of financial qualifications and striving towards the certificate in Paraplanning or Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Previous experience of working as a Paraplanner
  • Feel confident working alongside one or more advisers, offering relevant advice based on new and existing client queries
