Senior Mailroom Administrator

THE ROLE

You will support our mailroom team to ensure daily work load is delegated fairly to meet the needs of our business. Furthermore, you will work closely with our operational improvement manager to provide an accurate overview of the mailroom work flow and team performance.

You will contribute to the smooth running of the business by providing high quality, proactive professional mailroom and scanning services to promote the best possible service to our clients.

As a collaborative business, you will work closely with all departments, building positive relationships and demonstrating best mailroom practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to the Operational Improvement Manager on the work flow of the mailroom
  • Support the mailroom administrators and delegate workload to meet the needs of the business
  • Sort, collate and distribute all incoming mail ensuring high priority mail is processed first
  • Prepare and scan documents into our internal document management system
  • Issue all outgoing mail in line with the company postage policy
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, product providers and colleagues throughout the Company

Experience and Skills

  • Experience of working in a mailroom based administration capacity
  • Accurate computing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
