The Role

The key purpose of this role is to work closely with the regional operations manager to manage and motivate a large team of administrators to ensure we provide our financial advisers with excellent administrative support.

You will have proven administrative experience and will have provided full end to end administrative support to financial advisers. You will have managerial experience and a proven track record of motivating and engaging with a large team.

This role is heavily focused on line management responsibility so it is important that you are a good communicator, can recognise the strengths and weaknesses of your team and allocate work effectively to ensure the business needs are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to technical and process queries from advisers, administrators and clients
  • Escalate relevant issues to the regional operations manager
  • Enhance processes resulting in improving team productivity
  • Manage your team and distribute work evenly
  • Assist in training and upskilling new and existing members of the team
  • Support the Regional Operations Manager to collate MI reports on a regular basis
  • Conduct regular audits to identify any areas where improvement is required
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the business
  • Hold daily “Huddles” to ensure full visibility of the work load across the team

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Previous experience of working in an administrative capacity, ideally within an IFA
  • Previous management experience
  • Level 4 diploma Qualified or equivalent financial services qualifications
  • Experience working within defined service standards, policies and procedures
