Well done to the Chase de Vere team which took part in, and won, the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) games on Friday 5 July 2024.
The Chase de Vere team consisted of Emma Jones and Gurdev Bansal, who are both Independent Financial Advisers, and Charlie Moorin, Alasdair Owens and John Llanes, who are all Administrators in our Personal Injury and Court of Protection (PICOP) team, based in our Bury office. Our PICOP team advises clients, and their families and representatives, who have suffered from catastrophic and life-changing injuries.
The event took place at Manchester Rugby Club and was held to support the Child Brain Injury Trust. The Child Brain Injury Trust helps children with brain injuries to live their best life possible by providing specialist rehabilitation, education and community services across the UK. We were delighted that the event raised £18,000 for this fabulous charity.
The Chase de Vere team competed against 20 other teams, including solicitors, financial advisers and investment managers, taking part in events such as Fancy Dress Obstacle Course, Shot Put, Egg & Spoon Race, Water Bucket & Sponge Relay, Space Hopper Relay and Tug of War. At the end of the competition, Chase de Vere were the overall event winners
